At 18:00 on May 5, with the launch of Long March 5B carrier rocket, China Southern Power Grid Corporation successfully completed the task of special level power supply for space launch.

According to the introduction, this guaranteed power supply involves 6 key places, 14 important substations, 25 transmission lines and 11 distribution lines. Hainan Power Grid Co., Ltd. of China Southern Power Grid has prepared one overall plan and seven special work plans, detailed and decomposed 81 tasks of power supply guarantee, and conscientiously implemented various measures. 100% of the substations and lines involved in power conservation have been inspected and operated, 549 equipment defects have been eliminated, 48800 tree barriers have been cleared, and 100% of emergency and major defects have been eliminated.

It is understood that the first launch mission in this year is during the epidemic prevention and control period. Compared with last year, this power supply guarantee mission has the characteristics of short cycle, heavy task and high density. In order to do a good job in power supply guarantee, Hainan Power Grid Company of China Southern Power Grid started the power supply guarantee work on January 16, and entered the implementation stage of special level power supply guarantee on May 3. In order to do a good job in voltage sag control, the power supply guarantee personnel carried out special inspection and maintenance work on 361 transmission lines of 110kV and above, 36 associated 35kV Transmission lines, 93 10kV distribution lines and corresponding transformer substation intervals in the whole province, and organized several emergency drills for power supply guarantee; provided technical support for power supply customers and signed the responsibility for power supply safety for 6 key places Ren Shu completed two rounds of safety electricity inspection at four evacuation sites for space launch.

During the period of super guaranteed power supply, Hainan Power Grid Company of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. connected with the main network of China Southern Power Grid through 500 kV submarine cable. In principle, no maintenance and test work that has a great impact on system safety and power supply reliability will be arranged. At the same time, Hainan power grid company has set up 70 emergency teams with 922 people in total, 213.22 million yuan of materials in stock, 44 emergency power vehicles on duty for 24 hours to ensure that the launch task is safe and secure.
