1、 Purpose and use environment
Outdoor solid rod post insulator is used in power frequency AC voltage 10-500kV outdoor power station, substation power distribution device and electrical equipment as the insulation and support of live parts.
The applicable environment of insulator is - 40 ~ + 40, and some products can be used in the area with an altitude of 4000m. The products are divided into two categories: ordinary type and pollution resistance. The pollution resistance can be applied to medium, heavy and extra heavy pollution areas.

2、 Structure and process characteristics
The ceramic parts of the modified series insulator are solid structure, and the gluing part adopts the structure of sand on the column. The ceramic formula of our factory is advanced and the performance is excellent. After actual operation, the reliability is very high. The sand used for sanding is a special granulated sand which has been strictly controlled by the process. It has excellent combination performance with porcelain body and reasonable expansion coefficient, which can effectively improve the mechanical strength of the product. The flange structure of the product is reasonable, and the stress distribution is uniform under stress. Its material is nodular cast iron with high mechanical strength and its surface is hot-dip galvanized. It has excellent corrosion resistance. The cement used for glue packing is high-grade cement, with reasonable curing technology, the strength of porcelain is fully developed. The products of any voltage level are of single column type, with the advantages of simple structure, long service life and less maintenance work. In order to ensure the reliability of insulator, our factory has carried out one by one hit, ultrasonic flaw detection and four-way bending load resistance test.
